CCA

CCA ( Chromated Copper Arsenate) has been used world wide as a chemical wood preservative since 1933. CCA is still used world wide for commercial and industrial projects. In the past decade however, CCA has, in some countries, been restricted from use in certain residential applications. These include unfinished, exposed applications like decks, hand rails, picnic tables, and play sets. For more information please see the following links.
